Chain of Command 3-d
********************
if your reading this, you got this map from the map room. I only posted this there because I was having trouble getting people to download maps from my website at www.geocities.com. The actual terrain for this map is pretty much patton's proving grounds. I edge_pathed off the base part though, so you fight in the middle. In case your wondering why I named it Chain of Command 3-d, is because it was an idea to try to recreate Chain of Command, a war game part of the 2am gameclub (it's free, get it at www.2am.com). Unfortunitly for the original Chain of Command, it is bugged up almost as bad as BZ II and sometimes it seems the game is out to get you, where a lot of BS goes on it it.

Anyways, the map was designed to be played with the new weapons, WWII guns featured in Chain of Command. I didn't add the grenades though because they didn't seem useful to a respect where people would use them. Maybe in my second map... The weapons are: MG-42 (german), BAR (american), MP-40 (german), tomphson (american), and garand (both german and american). I put the german power-ups on one side of the map, and american power-ups on the other. Since the BAR and MG-42 are the best weapons (think gattling gun that is ammo efficient), they take a minute to respawn, the tommy and MP-40 are wild weapons, really only good for close combat, they take 20 seconds, and the garand, being standard issue, recharges immediately. You aren't forced to use these weapons, but all the bullets are one hit = dead, so they are better than the original. Now you know that they are one hit = dead, maybe you might want to rethink your strategy?

Unzip ALL the contents to the addon\missions\multiplayer folder. You can put them all in a sub-folder if you wish, it won't affect multiplayer play.

Do not use my weapons for any custom map of yours that is not a Chain of Command map. I would love it if someone made an urban map (since Chain of Command is urban war-fair to begin with), and authenticy to the original game is encouraged. Don't use the number system either because I use that. :)

Oh yeah, I added the flame-thrower from the weapons pack and renamed it from "flame-squirter" to "flame-thrower". That's WWII, wasn't in the original game though.

Weapons to look forward to in future maps:
mortor (that's world war II)
bazooka (that's also world war II)
grenade (original game, maybe for chucking over hills or something)
land mine (that would be dope)

IMPORTANT NOTE!:
Since this was first posted on my map page, it follows my map rules! Do not add DM to any of the file names! Don't change any of the file names period. It can ruin your assets.
