If you remember the old Atari 2600 game "Warlords" - you'll understand.
4 castles, one at each corner of the screen, beating up each other. Same principle... :)

This is my first map, and it took a lot longer than I immagined. The lack of good documentation
to the editor was a major setback. Thanks to the websites devoted to the map-making process,
I was able to survive. My hat's off to the guys at Activision who actually had to sit all day
and USE the editor. I hope thier medical plan covers straightjackets, 'cause I know I'D be crazy
working with it for too much longer! :)

This map was designed to take advantage of both length, width, AND height. By using ALTITUDE,
I made a small map feel somewhat larger (at least I think) and there are some dizzying falls if
you aren't careful (which will undoubtedly put you falling into enemy territory!)

Something I added are "catwalks" which surround the map. Primarily intended for espionage or
as a "back door" for escape, they have some dilapidated sections that need repaired, or where
rockslides have occured.
You will have to use your jump thrusters here.
The reason for them is not for fun, but was actually
included as "howitzer filters", to keep an opponent from using them to shell or attack his neighbor.
If you run into someone on the catwalks, you can be sure it is human. "Sniper boxes" and
pits have been placed at each corner of the upper catwalks, as well as inside some bases. So
if you find yourself on foot, these may come in handy.

This map was intended for fast and hopefully fairly CONSTANT action. Each base area has
just enough scrap to let a commander get a factory, armory, a few turrets, maybe some better
weapons for your own tank, a wingman and 3 scavengers (with some emergency spare scrap). From
there, you HAVE to perform escort duty - out to the common area to battle it out for scrap.
If you want neat weapons, you have to work for it! :) The only way you will build your forces
is by keeping your scavengers busy and ALIVE. Commanders who are AGGRESSIVE scrap
collectors will be able to take advantage of a couple built-in terrain advantages, IF they
are fast and daring enough.

The base areas are not typically large enough for hangars or supply depots. But each has the
capacity for at least one gun tower and solar pannel. This also is on purpose - the idea being
that you will have to keep your armory alive, AND consuming scrap, which probably will
require combat. Team players should easily be able to combine forces in a single area, however.

There are a couple "back doors" to find and hopefully I will be able to put some respawning
ammo and a couple ships in. So that when you loose your recycler, you have a chance at getting
at least SOME revenge. But these will be fairly limited.
