Gameplay Notes

THIS IS A TEST MAP. EXPECT SOME BUGS/REPORT THEM!
Above all, have fun!

There are some unusual parts to this map, please read
the next two paragraphs completely before playing.

This is a TEAMPLAY map, try to make the sides even and
figure out your team members before you start. The basic
setup is CCA vs NSDF, so pick a side and start as a pilot.
Additionally, pick a TEAM LEADER to be your BASE COMMANDER.

Everyone starts at the same point, deep in the volcano
in the center of the map. From there you can ALLY with
other members of your TEAM and begin the journey to your
base. The idea of the LAVA is to allow your Recyclers
to self-destruct. Do not attempt to save them.

__________________________________________________________

Duties for this map are split into two parts.

BASE COMMANDER, or Team Leader, should immediately
start climbing the NORTH side for NSDF or the SOUTH
side for CCA. These are also marked by a GOLD tube
for NSDF and a BLACK thermal unit for CCA. The ALIEN
buildings will make more sense later.

At the top of the two sides are WALKERS. These are special
WALKERS and will create your Recycler and a Scav. The
WALKERS can only make one of each so you should wait until
you get to base to create them.

The way you WIN in this map is to destroy the enemy Walker.
These are the ONLY Walkers in the game, so there'll be no
confusion.

Once in the Walkers head to your base areas. The NSDF base
is in the NW and the CCA base is in the SE, but it's who
gets there first that matters. Otherwise the two areas
are equal in terms of resources and terrain.

Once at the Base deploy your Rec and allow your Scav to
start collecting scrap. You will notice there's no Factory
in the Rec, but it will create a Minelayer. You should make
a Minelayer for each of your Teammates. It may be necessary
to call the pilot out of the ship if your teammates can't snipe
him out.

Once you've created the Minelayers you should go about the usual
base building tasks of making Buildings and Defenses. You will
notice your Offensive capabilities are almost nothing. That's
because you will be relying on your Teammates for Offensive
units.

Should your comrades desire more than the Tanks they can create,
you can provide them with powerups from the Armory that will
allow a Tank to create other Tanks. These powerups can only be
used once and will cost a great deal, so experiment carefully
with them.

__________________________________________________________

FIELD COMMANDERS: You will take the fight to the Field and
create/command most offensive units. Once the BC makes your
MINELAYER you should get in it and go to a corner of the base.
Once there use the Minelayer to create a SILO and CONSTRUCTOR.

This is a special Constructor, as it creates everything you'll
need to make both Base Defenses and Offensive Units. You can
now recycle an alien building to generate your first supply
of scrap. Once you have scrap, you will have to create more
silos and some barracks to be able to generate Tanks and piloted
units. You can also make Scavs to gather loose scrap once
the supply in the base area is exhausted.

NOTE: There is currently a ridiculous amount of scrap in this
map, as we are still in the testing stage.

You should create Power Supplies and Gun Towers to add to the
main base area's defense.

Eventually you will have to move forward to harvest the scrap
around the volcano. At this time you'll encounter the enemy.
You and your Wingmen will have to do all the fighting.

__________________________________________________________

TIPS:
Here's a short version of the above instructions:

LEADER
1. Climb up N or S wall, take Walker, go to NW or SE base
2. Create Recycler and Scav
3. When you have scrap make a Minelayer for each teammate
4. Build base defenses, Armory, recycle buildings for
     major scrap bonuses

FIELD GUYS
1. Climb out of Volcano
2. Bounce to NW or SE base area
3. Get in Minelayer the Leader has made for you
4. Go to corner of base area and make SILO and CONSTRUCTOR
5. Recycle a building for scrap
6. Build Barracks, then more Silos, Tanks, Scavs, add to
Base defenses with your SP's and GT's.
7. Build forward bases to collect the scrap around the
     volcano

EVERYONE
1. The number of wingmen you have will vary depending on the
connection the Host has. Try to limit yourself to
just one or two wingmen and one or two Scavs. You'll
have to experiment to see how many AI units you can
create before lagging the game out.
2. You can get units other than the stock Tank from the
Base Commander by loading a special powerup from the
Armory, but they are one-shot powerups.
3. You can use the Base Commander's Hangar and Supply buildings
4. You will have to call for repair and ammo from the
Base Commander. A Comm Sat will be very helpful for
     that.
5. All Field personnel can set their chat to the Base Commander,
who should be free to relay messages since all he'll be
doing is looking at the Comm Sat/building things. :)
