Description:

This map is a two player deathmatch map.  It is a long canyon which has a ravine which splits the two halves.  The ravine itself is split longways by a row of spikes.  These spikes can be seen as the players jump the ravine to go from one end of the map to the other.  At each end of the canyon,  round fortresses which contain several powerups are found.  The powerups are the same at each end.  In fact, even the placement of the powerups is the same.  There are only 2 spawn points, and these are at safe areas high above the canyon floor overlooking the fortresses.  This was done to eliminate camping at spawn points waiting for a cheap kill.  From the spawn points, the player can make a run and jump into the fortress.  Each fortress has only one entrance, but can be exited either by the entrance or by using the ramp (beware, it is quite tricky to exit this way).  Each end of the canyon there are areas filled with spikes which allow the players to dodge missile and make getaways.  With very few places to hide, this map keeps the action going.  Also, ammo and powerups can be found in niches along the walls of the canyon.  These are marked by pylons.  It also needs to be mentioned that if the player does not successfully jump the ravine, then there are exits which lead back out.  There are two hidden powerups, one is easy to find, the other is is quite tricky.  Their usefulness is questionable, however.
