First off, everyone wishing to know the background of this map should read the attached 'ORIGINS' text file. This map is an attempt to recreate the final battle between the BATTLEZONE forces and the CYBRID invader, Prometheus.

It can be played as a strictly DM map without using the Prometheus Walker, but it's more fun with him wandering around. :)

The player chosen to be Prometheus should stay on foot. Exit the carrier to the North and glide as far as you can towards the center of the map. You can almost make it all the way in the air unless you are in a ship.

Once there go to the nearest left hand 'arm' of the building. There is an invisible WALKER there, almost buried in the arm of the building. You can see the word 'Walker' appear in your left hand 'action' readout once you're pointed in the right direction.

Get in the Walker.

Congratulations! You are now a state-of-the-art Cybrid Killing machine!

Examine your weapons. They look stock but you should take a second to test fire them all as they act very differently than the stock weapons they're listed as.

You are virtually indestructable and have almost unlimited ammo. Additionally, the final entry in your weapons list is a Recycler. Create it by selecting it as your weapon and firing. You can only make one at a time.

Send it to the nearest geyser. If you use a geyser that is on the alien 'pad' area the Rec will almost blend in. (Provided you are using the custom skins that come with this map)

This Recycler will create your 'backup', as if you needed any. All units created will be supported on your system and through your connection, so keep their numbers down to prevent a ton of lag!

These units are also not what they seem. The 'Turret's are turrets, but the Scouts are also Turrets that crawl around shooting Flechette guns. The 'Rocket Tanks' look like Rocket Tanks and fire Plasma rounds and quick-locking rockets similar to the ones you have.

The game ends when you are destroyed, which should take some time given everything you have at your disposal.

Please report any bugs to agoeldel@voyager.net and have fun playing!
