Mission Briefing:

Lieutenant,

We've figured out why the recycler is malfunctioning. Apparently the NSDF comm tower is
transmitting old access code signals to the recycler, which are completely locking out the on-
board systems. Commander Karni neglected to change the recycler's access codes, which is
why he is now working hard in his new scavenger.

You are now in charge. Your first task is to take out the NSDF comm tower. As long as it
remains standing the recycler is useless.

Lieutenant Narik is currently en route to the rendezvous point with a squad of aerial furies.
These are no ordinary furies Lieutenant, but are of a new breed. They have a lot more
firepower and a far tougher skin. They are his pride and joy, and will serve you well in battle.
Make sure you reserve a slot for Lieutenant Narik in your offensive roster. He will arrive at the
rendezvous point in approximately 18 minutes.

The recycler is urgently needed at the biometal quarry, as more NSDF forces are closing in.
You must destroy the NSDF factory within an hour following Lieutenant Narik's arrival or the
whole operation will be in jeopardy.

It is fortunate that we were able to steal an NSDF constructor and gain access to its
technological advancements. You will find that your supply depots and repair hangars now
operate with amazing efficiency.

There are a few MAS grenade mines near the NSDF base. These may prove useful in holding
off those blasted Wolverine tanks.

This is your opportunity to shine Lieutenant. Don't let me down.

General Arkin out.

Installation Instructions
-------------------------
Before you begin, exit Battlezone if it is running.

1) All the files in the zip file need to be unzipped into your BattleZone\addon directory
   (folder).

2) Do not modify any of the files in any way! The map will no longer work and/or lose
   multiplayer compatability.

3) WARNING about the edit mode menu files: If you have a custom edit mode menu file (odf files starting with b_) in your addon directory, the AI probably won't function correctly. Enemy units may not be produced (what fun would that be?). I have no idea why this happens, but I've seen it happen with maps (mine and others) having custom odf files. I suggest you remove them from the addon directory (or modify the name by 1 character).

Game Startup
------------
Do not play this game with the /edit option. Otherwise, the .hgt file might be modified
when the constructor builds units.

In order for the mission to function as intended, you should exit Battlezone before
restarting a mission over again.

Frame rate may decrease after going to sattelite view. To correct this, hit the "esc" key
and then return to the game.

Credits: Kudos to Battlezone and Bzfrac14a. Both are excellent map-making tools. Special thanks to Slight's Scrap page for the Achilles pre-dawn palette.

These files will in no way affect any other missions (unless by strange coincidence they
have odfs of the same name). This mission uses the following odf files from Get Arkin I:
getar3.odf, getar5.odf, getar6.odf, getar7.odf, getar9.odf, getar10.odf, getar11.odf.

The following are from Get Arkin III: getar15.odf, getar16.odf, getar22.odf.

The files aetar0.odf, aetar1.odf, aetar2.odf and getar23.odf are new for this mission.

All other files for this mission are in the form of getarkn6.*.
