Directions: create a folder called Spinifex in the Battlezone II Data\Missions\Multiplayer\ folder, then extract the contents of the zip file into the Spinifex folder.

This map is based on my Treads2 deathmatch map, which is just a tad big for that genre. The interesting thing about Spinifex is the placement of the player spawn points. It occurred to me that the recycler is designed to be mobile. So, on this map you are going to have move the recycler some distance to find a spot to park it that fits well with your strategy.
There are a number of level areas that might make good bases. I've counted ten different locations which might support viable bases. Be aware that they are not all the same size. You'll find these location on the hilltops, beaches and in the valleys.

Don't bother looking for loose scrap at the outset. There isn't any. I would have to lay down a lot of scrap to provide for all ten potential base areas. You'll also find that the scrap pools are rather remote, more so for some base areas than others. A great deal of your time is going to be spent figuring out how to protect your extractors, especially since gun towers can't be conveniently built around most of them.

Finally, the default vehicles are assault tanks. Off the bat, you are not going to be zipping across the map looking for your opponent. You might build a more nimble vehicle once the recycler is deployed, but for a while, you are going to be base-sitting. This is a good thing because it keeps your opponent from rushing over and popping your recycler while you're still moving it.

Enjoy!

P.S. Spinifex is a thorny scrub weed native to arid regions in Australia. While this may not make much sense for a Mire map, I like the name and at least the thorny part fits. So, don't bother to try correcting me. I already know.
