but if it does, please send me an email at webmaster@tanet.org with
the name of the conflicted unit, the weapon it uses, who made it
(including URL of site), and if possible, an empty ID that I CAN use.

UNIT STORY:
The Arm's newest weapon was wrecking havoc. Central Consciousness
had not prepared for the possibility of Arm developing a superior
heavy tank... which it now had, in the form of the Emancipator heavy
attack unit. Core forces wherever this lumbering killer was
deployed where being eradicated as the triple guns of the Emancipators
slaughtered Core KBots and vehicles left and right.

This advantage of the Arm would not last, swore the combined minds
of Central Consciousness. Experts from throughout the Core "hive" were
brought in to make a weapon that could counter the killer Emancipators,
which individually was ruefully nicknamed the "Eman," "Emen" in
plural, by the thousands of minds that made up Central Consciousness.
Finally, after weeks of tireless experimentation and testing, the
scientists unveiled their creation- a tank armed with an all-new
antimatter cannon, which rapidly pulsed bolts of searing antimatter at
the target. The sleek, streamlined build of the new tank gave it a
mobility most heavy tanks lacked. The only downside to this awesome
war machine was its inability to fire any sort of artillery weapon,
something easily balanced with the building of normal artillery units,
like the old, sluggish Goliath super tanks and the standard Core
Mobile Artillery battery.

Knowing that they had created a winner, the leader of the coalition
of scientists and designers mentally grinned so wide that his good
mood spread throughout the excited congregation of minds.

"We call it the Pulsar."

Named after the powerful radioactive neutron stars throughout the
galaxy which "pulsed" huge beams of radiation outwards, the Pulsar was
a marvel of engineering. Preliminary tests showed that it far
exceeded its original rated ability, and could easily counter
many Arm defenses.

Central Consciousness approved the new tank unanimously, with flying
colors. The cheers after the first prototype of the Pulsar was
demonstrated on a group of captured Arm PeeWees and Hammers (and
totally wiped them out) were so thunderous that it seemed that
the entire planet of Core Prime itself was shaking with euphoria.
Orders to begin construction of the Pulsars were sent at once to
bases all over Core Prime. The blueprints of these tanks were flown
via Galactic Gate to beleaguered Core Commanders throughout the
galaxy, who eagerly accepted these new units into their armies.

It was time for the Core to strike back.

UNIT DESCRIPTION:
The Pulsar is an advanced single-barrel tank that, though large
and pretty heavily armored, has an agility that most such heavy
tanks lack. This is due to its unique, streamlined design that
Core scientists spent days just designing the base of. The
weapon used by the Pulsar is a prototype antimatter cannon that causes
a lot of damage and fires rapidly, but is LOS and thus easily
hindered by wreckage and scenery. Each tank is capable of inflicting
incredible damage, but its only defense if under attack in a
wreckage-swept landscape is to try and use its superior speed
and maneuverability to escape before it is destroyed. The Core
scientists decided to make this deadly tank buildable by their
Advanced Vehicle Plant because a close study indicated that the
more simplistic lathe processors in the normal Vehicle Plant
wouldn't be able to take the strain of constructing such a
detailed weapons system as the pulse cannon was.

Special thanks to all of the people on the TAMMO/AC and Annihilated
webboards (as well as mithro, muchos thanks, buddy!) who helped me
figure out how to fix the "reversed tilting bug" that so plagued this
unit before its release. For the webboard people- you know who you
are, and you have my utmost gratitude. Without you, the Pulsar would
have become another Arm RaT, unreleased and forgotten.
