======================
BOTJOHNNY VERSION 2.00
======================
 UPGRADING FROM V 1.x
======================

This short text file is for users of BotJohnny version 1.x who have looked
at this new version and are frustrated because everything has moved.

Firstly, sorry. Secondly, I hope this helps a bit..

---WHERE THE HELL HAS EVERYTHING GONE?

x The VIEWABLE WEAPONS list can now be brought up by clicking the button
   on the Options tab.
x The MAP PREFERENCES have also moved onto the Options tab.
x The options on the JOHNNY tab are now accessible by clicking "Preferences"
   on the Options tab.
x The QUAKE2 tab has gone. All options can be found in the list on the
   Options tab.
x The SPAWN box and NUMBER OF RANDOM BOTS has moved onto the MAIN tab
x The CTF options have been removed. The number of bots per team can be
   found in the list on the Options tab (Eraser mods only). The spawn method
   (random or specific) has merged with the Deathmatch options and can be
   found on the MAIN tab.
x The ADVANCED CONFIGURATION button is now on the Options tab.
x The EXTRA OPTIONS list is no more. All options can be found in the big list
   on the Options tab. Unfortunately, to edit them you now need to use Profile
   Manager. Sorry, but it is becoming too complex for BotJohnny now and I don't
   want to bog the program down with loads of editing options.
x The MULTIPLAYER options have now moved onto the PATHS tab. I now this is a
   little illogical, but I could not think where else to put them.

---WHY CAN I NOT USE MY CONFIG FILES ANY MORE?

I've had to change how all the configuration files are stored. I have written
a program called BJ_CONVERT which will go through each profile and convert all the
files into the new format.

Sorry about this, but it was the only way I could really do everything I wanted.
As a result the following files are no longer used (and will be deleted by
BJ_CONVERT if you want):

  johnny.ini
  johnny.cfg
  prefs.cfg
  extra.cfg
  custom.cfg
  chekxtra.cfg

There will be multiple copies of some of these files. It does no harm to keep them
except it wastes a bit of hard disk space.
