Description : It has been some time since I last set foot
on this map, it was back in Doom2 where you
couldn't look up or down. Time has taken
it's toll on one of the first battlegrounds
of FPS history. The grass has dried out, the
ceilling has collapsed on some parts of the
map, the pillars have fallen and everywhere
there is a sign of death and destruction.
Many battles were fought on these grounds
and I hope many will take place, altough it
is very old and battered it is still
			  Dead Simple.

Additional Credits to : Zoltan (aka Predator4) my brother for
                          testing and ideas.
			  ]-[appy for the screenshot.
ID software for Doom, Q1, Q2 and Q3A
			  and especially Doom2.

Other Maps By Author (for Q2):

DeathTrap : It was my first map so be
			              nice abut it :)
Maelsrom : A huge map for teamplay.
			  	      Didn't really work out.
Iron Fortress: F2F rulez (reviewed at QIC)

Maelsrom II : F2F or 4 player dm on a
			                pumping station
					(reviewed at QIC)

		    (for Q3A):

Airborne : a space map for f2f or 4-6 player
dm. It worked out nicely for 2vs2
			             as well (reviewed at QIC)

Event Horizont : Another map in space setting for
				     f2f only.

Comments : I personally really liked making this map,
for my first experiences of "deathmatch" are
strongly connected to Doom2 and it's dm
levels. Me and my brother have connected a
small laptop and our dx40 386 machine and
wer chasing eachother on dm maps or teamed
up to conquarethe imennse hordes of imps and
			  cacodemons of doom2.
The other thing is that it brought back many
memories of mapmaking. I have made my first
			  levels for doom2.
Weapon placement is Doom weapons only... :)
No BFG though, 'cause it would spoil
			  gameplay...
This map was inpired by and entered in the
			  Pure DM Dead Simple Contest.
Bots didn't really like this map :(
They tend to do some stupid things...
This is due to the compelxity of the surfaces
all those cracks make them confused. And
they are too lazy to jump :)
