Title : Who Stole My Puppy?
Filename : RvnDM1.bsp
Version : 1.0(ish) of 3/4/99
Author : De Raven
Email Address : gavinc@atd.co.uk
Installation : Unzip into your Quake2/Baseq2/maps directory.
                          Type "map rvndm1.bsp" to play.
If you want to play against Eraser Bots, the .rtz
file is included for your convenience. Just unzip
			  it into your Quake2/Eraser/Routes directory.

Description : Having steered clear of CTF for a while, I thought
I'd try my hand at a little DM action. Egged on by
the praise from everyone who got it from the PQ
mailing list, I took on board their criticisms and
had another go. And this is the result.
This level was a joy to work on. It was so much more
fun to be playing with more complex shapes, and a
texture set I don't often use. For the work I put in
(which seems negligible in retrospect - this level
practically built itself), I'm delighted with the
outcome, and I hope you enjoy it. The only downer
with regard to all this was the number of times I
"finished" it, then thought of a better way of doing
something :) It was worth it though - the r_speeds
were astronomical for quite a while, but I've managed
to drag them down to something far more reasonable in
all but a couple of places.

Recommended
# of players : 4-8 (16ish DM starts)
Any more than 8, and it could get pretty crowded, but
crowded is fun too, hence the numerous DM starts :)

* Play Information *

Single Player : nope
Cooperative : nope
Deathmatch : Yup
Skill Levels : nope

* Construction *

Base : Original level from scratch.

Editor(s) used : Worldcraft 1.6

Build Time : A couple of intensive weekends, with nothing else to do.

Compile Time : About 19s QBSP, 3150s QVIS, and I don't remember how long
			  for lighting.

* Known Bugs *

Not really a bug, but the the r_speeds are a little high in a couple of places.
They're generally pretty good, but in those places they go just over what I would
call acceptable. Having said that, I played a game with 8 eraser bots and it was
absolutely fine.
Other than that, there's not much to tell. Let me know if you find anything.

Additional Credits to : Matt (Grolsh) Ryder, Andy (Bud) Allen (Good Luck in
the RollCage tourno, mate) and Huw (Morpheus) Gower.
I don't care what he says, I don't believe that
"The Rape And Ruin Of Angels" is a suitable title
			  for a public release :)
To everyone on the PQ mailing list, whose names I
have mostly forgotten, making me feel exceptionally
guilty. Particularly, though, to Norb at QFL
(whose site on Captured you should really check
out), Pagonski, zAB and the mapper who sent me his
ideas and opinions regarding the last map I did.
To Ben Morris for WorldCraft, and of course to id.

Info about the Author	: The author's name is Gavin Cooper, and he harbours
a forbidden desire for Carol Vorderman, the Maths
Witch. In his spare time he enjoys funding revolutions,
reading up on underwater basket-weaving, and doomsaying
in local supermarkets. Contrary to popular belief, he
does not, in fact, "talk to the animals", but instead
chooses to merely smile knowingly at family pets, in
the manner of one who knows where his next meal is
coming from. His mate Huw writes most of the
humorous lines, barring these ones, should anyone find
			  this drivel entertaining..
He wishes more people would use this space in their
text file for writing amusing rubbish.
