Description             : Deathmatch Quake II (and Lithium)
Best played with 4 or more players. If less just play the pit area.

There are three main areas. The Pit, the Cave, and the Library. Various halls connect it and there are lots ledges and small rooms. It works as a regular deathmatch or as a good map for the Lithium mod. You can find every weapon but the BFG. I tried to light it for open GL, so the regular lighting is a little overbright...sorry but I only got opengl 2 weeks before release.

*NOTE: This map is the most requested map on my lithium server...It appears to even out the skill differences between players...so everyone can get some frags

* Running the Map *

Put Terryhell.bsp into your maps directory (Quake2\baseq2\maps).
Put the file terryskin.wal file in (quake2\baseq2\textures\misc) directory.
Run Quake2, and bring down the console (by pressing ~).
Type "map Terryhell".  The map will start.  For multiplayer games, start
the game first.  Then bring down the console and enter the map command.
Each player must have the .bsp file in his/her map directory.

* Other Info *
This is my first map. I will get better at optimizing for speed and adding special effects.
I found the learning curve harder than I thought. My first early attempt was a visually stunning bit of architecture but, it just would not compile when I put the pieces together. I had to simplify the structures so unfortunately it lost some of its appeal. I promise to get better at lighting as well.

* Past Projects *

None....but if you like this map...I can be convinced to do others that I have in my brain box. They should get better now that I'm farther up the learning curve.
