Information:
============
This mod attempts to reproduce many of the Rocket Arena 2 features in Quake 3.
It changes bot the server and the client so you will need to launch Quake 3
with "+set fs_game tbearena" on the command line in order to use it.

TBE is the acronym for "The Bleeding Edge", the name of the authors' Quake,
Quake 2, Quake 3, and Unreal Tournament clan, in case you were wondering.

Here are the game types that are or will be supported:

FFA - No teams. If "rounds" is 0 it will respawn like Quake 3 FFA. If it
          is set then it is "Last Man Standing" each round.

1 on 1 - Two enter. One leaves. No items and all configured weapons.

Pickup - Teams. If "rounds" is 0 it will respawn like Quake 3 Team mode but
          without items and all configured weapons. If it is set then it will
          be "Last Team Standing" each round.

CTF - Quake 3 CTF without items and all configured weapons.

Installation:
=============
Create a "tbearena" directory in your Quake 3 directory and extract the
contents of the "tbearena.zip" file there. This modification requires
Quake 3 Point Release 1.15c to work properly. Download it from id Software or
fileplanet.com.

Make sure you launch Quake 3 with "+set fs_game tbearena" in any launch
scripts or shortcuts you may use. You can create a multiplayer game in any of
the game modes using the built in interface.

If you're running a dedicated server you will want to execute a configuration
file to set the appropriate game modes. You can find sample configuration files
in tbearena/pak0.pk3: ctf.cfg, ffa.cfg, pickup.cfg, and tourney.cfg. You can
execute the configuration file by putting "+exec ffa.cfg" (or any of the other
configuration files) at the end of the command line for launching the Quake 3
server.

Enjoy!
