How To Use the LANPARTY.COM Handout Template
--------------------------------------------

There are 3 handout templates that you can use to
prepare packets for your LAN party attendees. Use
the appropriate one, depending on your setup:

LPHANDOUT-DHCP.DOC An MS Word document with steps
to connect to a network running
a DHCP server. Just print as
                       many as you need.

LPHANDOUT-NOMERGE.DOC An MS Word documentwith steps
to connect to a network which is
NOT running a DHCP server. Just
print as many as you need, BUT
YOU WILL HAVE TO ASSIGN EACH
                       PERSON A UNIQUE NUMBER starting
at 10 and going up! Maybe write
                       it on their nametages...

LPHANDOUT-MERGE.DOC An MS Word mail-merge document
which will allow you to print
                       a handout for each attendee,
                       including custom network setup
                       instructions for a network
WITHOUT a DHCP server. See the
section at the bottom for print
                       instructions.

Before customizing the handout, first decide on the
detail of your event. Read the LAN Party Preparation
document at:
