Kunani HIGHSCORE CTF PATCH Beta 0.30

This is a server side patch only. It is a modified Zoids CTF 1.02 source.

Features 0.30: (Skipped so its the same versions as DM)

 - Highscores saved for EACH LEVEL (MAP)
 - Message of the Day (MOTD.TXT located in CTF directory)
 - Virtual Weapons Support (VWEP)
 - Kuick Weapons Selection (KUWEP) - Select weapons faster! (Aliases)
 - Saves EACH Highscore for EACH level to Gamespy Rules for Polling
 - Enhanced Chase Camera Code - From VWEP CTF Source + Zoids

Features 0.11:

 - Added highscore and highholder server flags for Gamespy 
   info and filtering. Will allows for webpage filtering
   and highscore server listings.

Features 0.10:
 
 - Highscore is saved to highscore.txt file in Quake2 Directory
 - Added Name of Highscore Holder on the Scoreboard
 - Added Highscore display on HUD
 - Modified Frags display on HUD

This .DLL is in beta. Its a modifed Zoids Threewave CTF 1.02 source.
No modifications have been made other than the scoring displays and
saving the highscore over levels and server restarts. You MUST download Zoids CTF client pack to run this mod.

Sources will be released when the beta testing period is over.

For now, have fun and see if you can get your name up on the
highscore scoreboard!

Setup:

You may want to make a backup of your original CTF gamex86.dll before you unzip this file.

Copy the contents of this zip into Quake2/ctf directory.

The zip should recurse to the proper directories, so you may have to pick your DRIVE that Quake2 is installed on. The zip file will put everthing where it belongs.

IMPORTANT!!!

YOU MUST have a highscore text file for EACH MAP that will be played on your server.

Your server map loop is set as follows:

	q2ctf1
	q2ctf2
	q2ctf3
	q2ctf4
	q2ctf5

You need to create these files, (These are included in the zip, already) and put them in your Quake2 Directory.

	q2ctf1.txt
	q2ctf2.txt
	q2ctf3.txt
	q2ctf4.txt
	q2ctf5.txt

Do this for any map name you will be running on your server. if these are not done, the server may crash or be unreliable if the file is not found.

NOTE: You can SET a preset HIGHSCORE to start with by modifying the MAPNAME.TXT file in your Quake2 Directory. Line 1 is the highscore frag count, and line 2 is the player name who got it.


Run a dedicated server as:

Quake2/quake2.exe +set game "ctf" +set dedicated 1 +set hostname "HIGHSCORE_CTF_Server!" 

Set your maxclients, etc after that. Whatever config you want.

NEW CVARS! set them on command line or in autoexec.cfg file:

Activate VWEP: (Off as default = 0)

	vwep 1

Activate KUWEP (Kuick Weapon Selection) (Off as default = 0)

	kuwep 1
