Dark medieval times. Knights. Orges. Cold wet air in the black
castle. What is it? Dark remembrance? No. This is the reality.
You coming to yourself after heavy battle defeating the Ferrum
base from the insane aliens, which already bombed Zed facility
and killed all your mates there. And what do you see? Inverted
crosses on the walls. Dim light from them. Mossy stones of the
dark unknown hall. Cold. You're hungry and tired. Damned
headache confuse you to realise what happened. Here is not sun.
Clouds cover all the sky for ages. This is kingdom of eternal
winter and darkness. The sun no longer rises.

At first I want to say that this map made *without* transparent
water support. This is because of annoying warping water edges
in teleporters and in water pools. Besides, with using non-
transparent water fps is higher because of lower polycount.

This level was inspired by the dark winter nights dec98/jan99.
Sitting in my room and listening soundtracks for Quake, I was
fired to build entire level pak with three levels in it. But
with time flow all my enthusiasm sadly wasted. Also, the hated
hot summer time kills all my mind. I can't think about anything.
I'm just sitting, useless moving mouse on the pad, watching to
the screen and waiting for the long cold winter nights. Sigh.
But sometimes I'm keeping myself in my hands an doing the work.
In result you can see this map in the middle of this most
hated summer '99 =]
