A Quake-logo throbber for Microsoft's IE
----------------------------------------

//A throbber? What's that?
If you look at your Internet Explorer's
Toolbar, there is an image on the right
side that animates when you're loading
pages from the web.

This image is called "throbber".

If you are bored by the spinning "e"
that comes with your IE, you'll be pleased
with this Quake1 "Q".

//Installation
Unpack the zip file to your /windows
directory or any other where you want
to keep the replacement images.

After that, right click on the quake.reg
registry file and select "edit".

Adjust the path in lines 4 and 5 to the
location where you have unzipped the
bitmaps to. Leave the "//" as they are.

after saving quake.reg, simply double-
click it and select "yes" once you're
asked if you want to add the file to your
system's registry.

The next time you start your IE, you'll
have a fine new "brand logo".

Enjoy.
