Introduction
As a personal Quake II has great importance for me.
Game design, music, story, all the elements of the game make me feel
different.Actually i could not feel the same in Quake III Arena,
altough i respect, accept and know that it is one the best games in
this solar system. So decided to make something to make community deal
with Quake II in a different way.

What is Fire Plus ?
Fire Plus Weapon Modifier lets you modify almost every weapon in the
Quake II without recompiling the source code. By entering different
values you can have different kinds of weapons that you dreamed.
(Although the appearances still same!)

AN EXAMPLE MODIFICATION
Using Shotgun as an alternative Machine Gun !
-Launch Fire Plus
-Set shotgun's (not supershotgun!) damage = 1
-Set kick = 2
-Set speed = +11
-click "save settings" button
-select a map then double click "run Quake II" container.

Waooow did you like your new Machine Gun ?
Well use your imagination now on...

Hint: You dont need to quit Quake II to make changes. Just hit
alt+enter or alt+tab when you in Quake II and run the Fireplus.
Make your changes, save and hit alt+tab again to return Quake II,
select the weapon and see changes immediately.

What is "Homing Missiles" ?
"Homing Missiles" is a feature that makes your rockets find the target
automatically!(Thanks to: Chris Hilton)
If you want to toggle the homing feature from the console
just type;

homing 1 (homing missiles become active)
homing 0 (homing missiles deactivated)

                ------o%o%o%o------

What is "DetPipes" ?
Well detpipes are the grenades which wait you to give them a command in
order to they got exploded. Got it ?
(Thanks to: Chris Hilton again)
I mean you fire with your grenade launcher and the grenades are falling
like peas but there is no explosion!.They are all looking at you!
Then you just push a key and all blown up.
This feature is usually very funny when you make a team deathmatch.
One of the teams are hidden on purpose and leave about 10 unexploded
grenades behind. They begin to wait other team by sneaking in a dark
place. When the members of other team came poorly by the grenades you
just push the button.Ohh thats killing funny!
you can toggle this feature from the console by just typing;

detpipes 1 (makes detpipes active)
detpipes 0 (deactivation)
explode (makes all the sleeping grenades got exploded)

By default if you run the game with detpipes from Fire Plus, the key
"r" is bound to "explode" command. So just hit the key "r" for action.

Note: The Detpipes will explode 2 minutes later automatically, if you
forget to destroy them, not to cause any trouble in case of you forget
some unexploded grenades somewhere.

BFG mines
you know the green bfg ball that throws death around. In this feature
the ball stays still when you fire behaving like a mine. It waits
where you fire and in a certain radius destroys the enemy. This is like
a trap or mine.Place it left or right sides of the doors, behind the
boxes etc. if someone tries to walk pass near the ball he gets caught.
Just try it.It is a very funny add-on for the classic or team
deathmatch.
note: for the convenience of your team set "friendly fire = no" from
the multiplayer->dmflags menu of the game.

                ------o%o%o%o------
The "Zoom" command
Yes there is also a zoom feature you can use whenever game starts.
(Thanks to: Rick Kerry of Immersive Worlds)
Just type from the console;
zoom 1
I recommend you to bind this command to a key, for example;
from the console type:
bind s "zoom 1"
bind x " zoom 0"
in every push zooming feature goes one step further until it reaches
the last step then it returns normal scope.
if you want to return to normal view mode immeadiately when you in
danger you just push the "zoom 0" key which is "x" here above.

               ------o%o%o%o------

A different Blaster !
However there is no a modification choice for blaster, i modified it
as you will see when you fire. This modified "Halley Blaster" is totally
belong to me.

Conclusion:
I have not put any modification alternatives for blaster and bfg since
they were not appreciated as deathmatch weapons. However i changed
blaster's firing habits and increased it's damage about 33%.
If someone makes a Map(s) for "homing missiles" or "detpipes" and this
modification features, i would like to see it.

Thanks...
