Back in the Castle Again-GL QUAKE VERSION :)

A Movie by Riveen

-----------------------------------------
Allright, I fooled around with installshield for a bit, but
determined that it wasn't worth it...I will just be a lazy guy
and tell you how to install this movie...Well then again, this
movie did take a long time to make, so I guess I am not being
lazy. Uh hehe.

First of all, about QuakeLab: Multimedia...
Thank you, and good luck, loonyboi. We will miss ya. Welcome in
Fragmaster...It looks like I will be helping Fragmaster update and
innovate certain movie-making sections of QL:MM... Check us out
at http://www.planetquake.com/qsep

Second of all, this movie has voices in it, so it pretty much has to
be listened to with sound. :)

El Disclaimer
-------------
This is another free product I made. I am not making any money off it.
So why sue me if in some bizzare parralel dimension, it deletes something
important? You are using this at your own risk. If you follow the
directions, you will be fine. I am not responsible for any damages you
may suffer.

INSTALL INSTALL INSTALL
-----------------------
Okay here is what you have to do.

-Go into your Quake Directory. Make a sub-directory called 'CASTLE'

e.g. The directory would show up as c:\quake\castle

-Copy the files PAK0.PAK and autoexec.cfg into the castle directory.

			***********************
		Don't overwrite the PAK0.PAK in the id1
			subdirectory!! Unless you
pirated Quake! If you pirated Quake...Tell me where you live
and I will come down and they will never find the remains.
They will be Fed to Tokay's llamas or Disruptor's
				iguana!
			************************

-Go back to the the Quake directory (cd..) (e.g. c:\quake)

If you want to view the demo with GLQuake and only have 16
megs of RAM:

Type GLQUAKE.EXE -GAME CASTLE -HEAPSIZE 12000

For best preformance, I recommend rebooting before running the movie
because Windows95(tm) manages to decide to look stuff up on the hard
drive when an important WAV is being played, screwing up the movie. :6

If you have more than 16 megs of ram, I would recommending putting as
much ram as you can into the movie...Up to 20 megs should make a
noticable difference. (-heapsize 20000)

If you are feeling saucy, you may want to try those commands above
without capitals. :)

File listing
---------------------------------
stdmffn.jpg The Pic I made for the Map.
pak0.pak This file is required. Copy it to the CASTLE subdirectory
in your GLQuake directory. (DON'T copy it to the id1 dir.)
autoexec.cfg All this file does is force Quake to load castle.dem when
Quake is loaded. You can do this yourself if you want
but its so much easier this way. ;)
readme.txt Nothing annoys me more than when people bother describing
this as 'This file'. Its cooler saying ...uh....
(4 minutes later) ...The file you are reading now. (SIGH)
