INSTRUCTIONS:

Make a quake3/fraglan directory
unzip the fraglan090.zip file in there
connect to a fraglan server

to use the alternate fire mode, and offhand hook you can go to controls in the menus
and select MISC to bind the new keys as well as a landmine key (under weapons)

OR manually bind the keys like this:

To work the hook just bind a key to +button5
like:   /bind z +button5

To work the alternate fire just bind a key to +button6
like:   /bind mouse2 +button6

If you do not see the new font in the game, you messed something up! make sure you are running the newest patches (1.16) and make sure you make the directory /quake3/fraglan or /quake iii arena/fraglan (wherever your quake 3 was installed)

This is an interim beta test for people to beat on... There are bugs, i know it, im on it, hopefully you will find more than I (or maybe less). There are alot of new things including the weapons... Runes will not appear right now, but could tonite. Send BUGS and ideas to ME or ICQ me at 8944487.

The mod now has full Alt-fire support and will top out at 18 weapons total... Heres the lineup:

Heavy Caliber gun takes 10 - 12 points of damage per shot and takes 2 bullets per shot.

Leech harpoon will suck the life and armor from the victim once connected. 10 armor/10 health per second while it is connected, BUT if it ever gets cut off (enemy goes around a corner or something) it will break and you will need to reconnect it.

Shrapnel cannon - Grenade launcher blows into bomblets which eject from the gun. Each bomblet can deliver 20 points of damage, but fires in a random scattered pattern. If it touches an enemy, it will explode upon contact.

Flamethrower - Barbecue your enemies with this puppy. can do up to 20 points of damage, and takes 2 shots per single rocket round. ( i may change it to 4 or 5 per rocket round gimme feedback on this)

Sonic Railgun - Hold down the altfire button and listen to it charge up.. It charges at a rate of 100 points per second. Once you hear "Weapon Charged" it is fully charged with 300 points of damage ready.

Atom Smasher - devistates whatever it hits... can do up to 50 points of damage per hit, bounces off of walls and removes campers... It is an unstable matter and only can exist for 1 second until it falls apart.

Damage skins can be turned on by using: cg_damageskins 1 from the console
Only grunt and xaero have damage skins as of now, but there will be 10 damage skins in the final.

RUNES:
------
Ammo Rune - gives 5 units of ammo per second for the weapon currently being held..
Vampyrism - as you kill you opponent you will receive some of the health he lost.
Radiation - Gives you a radiation field around you which will toast anything within 		    your close radius
Power Amp - Gives you 2x damage on any weapon.

You can adjust the rune's time of existance by g_poweruptime. If you set it to -1 it will leave them on the map infinitely (like the old skewl stuff)
