Bishop's Rage front end program
-------------------------------

Bishop's rage front end offers an easy way to configure and run a BR server.
It give the user the ability to customize many aspects of the game, including what weapons
are available and how much they will cost in movement.

Quick Setup
-----------

Unzip BFre.zip into a temp directory then run the setup program. The software should be
installed in the quake2/rage directory. Now BRfe should be ready to run.

Using the software
------------------

The first time you run BRfe it will have the default values from BR2.1 under the equipment
tab.

Server Information: This is the information that normally would be set on the first page
of start network server in quake2.

Options: This area offers some extended features not found on the quake2 menus.
Use maplist enables and starts the maplist, remember to enter a set of maps under maplist
on the initialization tab. Alert Gamespy option does just that it sets you server to public
sets the master to whatever is listed under master. For more information on the alert
gamespy option see gamespy.

DMFlags: This allows you to select the DMFlags that will affect your game. CTF Force Teams
, Armor Protect, and CTF No Techs are all options from three wave CTF.

Initialization: Maplist is the list of maps that the server will run if maplist is selected
from the options section, or the commands sv maplist br.ini and sv maplist start are used at
the console once the server is active. more information about running a maplist can be found
in the help file.

Message of the Day: Is just that, once a client has connected and created a character this
message will appear briefly on their screen.

Equipment: Use the checkboxes to select what equipment will be included in BR. The index
determines how much movement each piece of equipment will cost. The first time BRfe is run
all the equipment will be selected and the index value will be set to the defaults from
BR version 2.1. The equipment index will be subtracted from the player's movement, each
player starts with 400 points of movement. During character creation a play may select more
than 400 points worth of equipment, but will move incredibly slow.

Known Bugs
----------

The CTF no runes option under DM Flags is not working. If CTF force teams is used players
Will not automatically get the changeclass menu, this option should be avoided for now.
All the bugs will be fixed in the next release, and new ones introduced ;)
