I take no credit for the design\layout of this level. It is 
simply a remake of CTF1, Mckinely Base, by Dave 'Zoid' Kirsch,
the father of Capture the Flag. In my opinion (Im sure some
would disagree), CTF1 is THE BEST CTF LEVEL out there for 
clan matches. It is increadibly well balanced, provides great 
teamplay and strategy, and is a blast to play. Consequently, 
is the most played CTF level for clan scrims and matches.  

That being said, it has quite a few problems that limit the 
playability and fun of it. For one, its (no offense Zoid:) 
constructed rather sloppily, with speed not in mind. There are
many dynamic (pulsating) lights, and many ambeint sound 
sources, both of which should only be used in single player
levels, because they strain the quake engine and cause lag 
in internet games. Secondly, there are quite a few places
in the level where one (especially a hpb) can get caught on
protruding edges very easily, such as on the stairs outside
the bases, or the lip around the underwater entrance to the
Rocket Launcher room.  Lastly, there are a bunch of minor	
cosmetic issues that could use a fix, such as an easy indicator
of which bunker is which from the middle, for example, as well
as numerous texture errors and over-lighting that i have been
dying to fix for ages.

Soooo.. I decided to rebuild CTF1. I felt it would be a great
addition to the CTF community if we could have a better version
of CTF1, that had the same great design and strategic layout,
but not as laggy, and without all the snag spots that can ruin a 
modemer's day. Also, come time when Quake2 is out, I can 
(hopefully) port this over easily, so we dont have to leave CTF1 
behind with Quake when we switch over to Q2.  Enjoy...
