Quick Start
=========================================================
This program is to be used with Blizzard's Battle.net to
avoid the "Searching for the fastest Battle.net server"
lock up.

* Run BattleOptimizer.Exe
* Press [Optimize] to test servers and optimize settings
* Run Starcraft or Diablo

What This Software Does:
=========================================================
  When you install Battle.net, a list of servers is written
to your registry. Each time you launch a game of Starcraft
or Diablo, the client Battle.net program tries to connect
to each Battle.net server in the list. When one or many
servers are down or when part of the Internet between you
and a server is down, you will end up waiting at the
"Searching for fastest Battle.net server" message. Many
times you will never get into Battle.net at all!
  BattleOptimizer solves this problem by pinging each server
three times, sorting the results, then writing back to the
registry the new optimized server list. Then, when you
launch Starcraft or Diablo, you can be assured you will
be able to connect and quickly! Note: I believe Starcraft
writes the original server list back to the registry each
time it exits.

What This Software Does Not Do:
=========================================================
  BattleOptimizer.Exe is not a hacking or cheating program
for Battle.net. It does not modify any of Starcraft,
Diablo, or Battle.net executables or data files. It does
not violate any license agreements.
