Instant Gib v1.00

Introduction
============

Instant Gib was a mod created in just around an hour - and features some incredibly
simple code changes.  Basically you spawn in a map of your choice with an enhanced 
railgun and for all intents and purposes - unlimited ammo.  The object of the game is 
identical to Deathmatch - kill your opponents more times than they kill you.  

So what's the difference then?  Your enhanced Railgun now does 1000 points of damage!
Not even a battlesuit and full armour will save you now.  

Put simply you are either dead or you are alive - there is no in-between.

Installation
============

Simply extract the 'Instant-Gib' folder from this file to your Quake3 directory.  For example -

C:\Quake3\

A folder will be placed in (i.e. C:\Quake3\Instant-Gib\) Not not put it in a folder when you extract
it or else you will get something like (C:\Quake3\Instant-Gib\Instant-Gib\)  This will NOT 
work.

N.B.  You must have version 1.16n or above - of Quake III Arena inordr to run this mod.
The patch is freely available to download throughout the web - including www.fileplanet.com

Playing
=======

Simply load up Quake III Arena as per usual.  Then go into the 'Mods' menu.  In it 
you should see a mod called 'Instant-Gib' (IG = Instant Gib).  Simply click on it and hit 'Load'.

A new option should now appear in the main menu - 'Instant Gib'.  Click on that, choose 
a map from the list available under the Instant Gin game type.  Then simply configure the
game (Bot's - Fraglimit etc) and away you go.

Playing Tips
============

I suggest that -

a) Set the 'Fraglimit' higher than usual as the killing rate will increase in the game.

b) Health and Armour is irrelevant - you will be either dead or alive.

c) For maximum fun and enjoyment - add more bots; using four as a minimum.
