[1] About this distribution

 This package offer almost all features of release 1 of Anargy and 3 Domination maps: Waterz, Desert Fort and SubMarine Base 2. It contains all textures, shaders, sounds which are needed to build maps for Anargy at this point. Release 1 will follow soon and will offer more maps, some extra features and will solve the bugs that are discovered in this version. 0v98 is a new download. No patch for 0v95x because about 80% got updated. Optional is the bot addon pack which allows to add dumb DM bots. Enjoy!

[2] START ANARGY

 1. \quake3\quake3.exe +set fs_game anargy
 2. After this choose "Play Anargy" from the main menu to connect to server or setup one.

    

[3] SPECIAL BINDINGS
 
 crouch     - activates shield
 dropammo   - drop ammo from current selected weapon, only if you have enough to fill the box.

 experience - shows experience points
 buyammo    - buys ammo(box) for current selected weapon, costs: 100 experience
 buyarmor   - buys 50 armor but armor never gets higher as 200, costs: 100 experience
 buymedkit  - buys medikit - cost: 200 experience

 addexp [x] - adds x experiencepoints - only available in cheat mode
 
 * example for a binding: '/bind j experience'
 
 SPECIAL COMMANDS
 
 class      - lets you configure a class on the fly like: class \rl\50\sg\100\armor\200
              when you respawn, you will have 50 rockets and 200 armor and a shotgun with 100 shells

              MachineGun = mg, ShotGun = sg, Rocket Launcher = rl, Grenade Launcher = gl
              Lightning Gun = lg, RailGun = rg, Plasma Gun = pg, Big Freaking Gun = bfg
              Armor = armor
              
 addbot     - Usage: Addbot <botname> [cfg] [skill 1-4] [team] [msec delay] [altname]
              [cfg] is use like class command: \rl\50\pg\200\sg\30\armor\150
              
              When using the in-game addbot menu, you add a bot with your last used cfg (aui_sclass var)



[4] GAMEPLAY NOTES / FEATURES

 Anargy does only supports Anargy Domination Maps. It should be able to run any other map, but it will go into Tourney Mode.

 DOMINATION TEAMPLAY
 - Each zone that is controlled by a team gives 1 point every second.
 - Each zone is controlled by a flag which has the color of the team that controls it.
 - A zone is captured when attackers touch it and defenders can not touch for 8 seconds.
 - If Defender touch it within those 8 seconds, the zone is reclaimed immidiatly.

 2 HALVES OF PLAY
 - To even out ANY inbalance both teams swap position at half time.
 - First half ends after 50% of the timelimit has past.
 - The match ends when one team gets half of all possible points ( other can't win anymore)
 
 MISC GAMEPLAY
 - Killed players drop all ammo of the weapon they were carrying at the moment
 - An ammobox can only be picked up if you have the weapon for it
 - All dropped items disappear after 10 seconds
 - Health doesnt run back when over 100, but normal pickup rules still exist
 - Ammo has 999 limit and ofcourse weight/speed forces limitations
 - When a player with Regeneration (due to his rating) is killed, he drops a 15 second Regeneration.
 - 1.5 Second protection against damage after spawning.
 
 HUD
 - weapons carried are shown on the left together with amount of ammo, also shows weaponswitch
 - on the lower left is a green and a yellow bar: health and armor.
 - on the lower right is scores for read and blue team. When one of those bars reached 100%, the game ends.
 - on the lower/middle right is an overview of all zones in the map, the background shows their status.

 3D RADAR
 - The 3D radar shows all players regardless of their team, but doesnt show teamcolor.
 - The 3D radar has limited range and doesnt show dead players.

 PLAYER EXPERIENCE SYSTEM
 - Players gets experience with based on how much they damage the health of players on the other team
 - Other ways to get experience:
      attack zone       : +5
      succesfull attack : +20 (so total = 25)
      defend zone       : +15 (to force serious attacks)
      any reward        : +25 (impressive/humiliation/excellent)
 - Ways to use experience:
      buymedkit		: -200
      buyammo		: -100 (buys 1 box of ammo)
      buyarmor		: -100 (buys 50 armor up to max of 200)
 - The ratingpoints are halved! when a player dies - so you drop 1 rating

   1)      -  125 points : <low rating>  = no reward
   2)  125 -  250 points : active shield = battle shield enabled, use it with crouch key
   3)  250 -  500 points : chainsaw      = chainsaw does 200% damage
   4)  500 - 1000 points : speed boost   = +15% extra speed
   5) 1000 - 2000 points : regeneration  = slow regeneration enabled
   6) 2000 - 4000 points : jetpack       = jetpack enabled
   7) 4000        points : radarjammer   = maximum, jams radar - 85%

  LOCATIONAL DAMAGE
  - For normal weapons: legs / body / head : 80% / 100% / 125%
  - For railgun       : legs / body / head : 80% / 100% / 250%
    legshot for railgun also causes player to move slow for 3 seconds
    headshots are indicated by a accuracy/headshot award
  - your weapon side of the body (right arm) also only takes 80% of damage    

  ACTIVE SHIELD
  - active shield is activated by crouch key and last for maximum of 3 seconds
  - this shield stops all splash damage and 66% of direct damage
  - shield recharges fully in 7.5 seconds, when not used
  - the player can not jump (only walk) when using this shield, crouching is gone btw
  
  JETPACK
  - awarded when reaching experience level 6
  - needs to be selected as a weapon to avoid flight+shooting (takes a weapon slot: weapon0)
  - max of 1.0 sec of thrust, recharges fast within 3sec
  
  ADJUSTED QUAKE3 WEAPONS
  - Anargy keeps much of the balance in weapons offered by Q3A
  - In general most weapons got a +10% damage, weaker weapons got strengthened and BFG tuned down
  - Chainsaw: 80 damage instead of gauntlet 50. Can be upgraded by rating points.
  - Machinegun: Higher rate of fire, 100ms to 85ms
  - Shotgun: Higher damage, 10 to 13.
  - Grenade Launcher: Velocity, damage from 100 to 115. Ammo is quite heavy.
  - Rocket Launcher: Velocity from 900 to 1200. Damage from 100 to 110. Ammo is quite heavy.
  - Lightning Gun: Damage from 8 to 9, 4x as much push. Range from 768 to 640 units
  - Railgun: Damage from 100 to 115. Headshot and Legshot possible.
  - Plasma Gun: Lower rate of fire but more as fully compensated by higher damage. Ammo is leight. Less lag also.
  - BFG: Very high velocity (2750) but reduced damage and splashradius. Ammo is leight, weapon heavy.
  
  USER CONFIGURABLE CLASSES - WEIGHT vs SPEED SYSTEM
  - Anargy comes with 10 predefined classes, but you can edit them in ANARGY CLASSES menu
  - In game, press escape and choose select anargy class to load up a new class when you respawn
  - Each class trades carried weight vs speed, also during a game. So the more you loose, the faster you go. Ammo, Armor and Weapons all have weight.
  - When you carry nothing, you will have 140% speed, when carrying 65kg, you only do 75%
  - Classes/Players with over 65kg won't be accepted by Anargy.
  
  SIZE AMMO BOXES
  - Anargy ammo boxes hold more ammo, 1 box holds:
    bullets   : 150
    shells    :  50
    grenades  :  25
    rockets   :  25 
    lightning : 150
    slugs     :  25
    cells     : 100 
    bfg       :  50
  
  ANARGY MODIFICATIONS TO MENUS
  - MAIN -> PLAY ANARGY          : start a server or connect to favourite servers
  - MAIN -> SETUP -> GAMEOPTIONS : you can adjust when the HUD should warn you of low health or armor
  - MAIN -> SETUP -> MUSIC       : you can find new music options which are not supported yet (but do work)

[6] KNOWN ISSEUS

  - HPB Client can get serveroverflow message when connecting -> please reconnect.

  Note: If you get protocol 45 error while connecting to servers, download the latest 1.17 release of Q3A.
