Installation and Launch

unzip to your /Quake III Arena/ directory.

Launch using:		/Quake III Arean/flagmatch/fm_tourney_dedicated.bat
			/Quake III Arean/flagmatch/fm_teamdm_dedicated.bat
			/Quake III Arean/flagmatch/fm_tourney.sh
			/Quake III Arean/flagmatch/fm_teamdm.sh

To play the bots locally:

			launchQ3>MODS>choose FM>MULTIPLAYER>CREATE SERVER>choose map/bots

Rules:
***************************************

Flagmatch plays as Q3 team-DM or tourney modes. We'll be supporting FFA in the 1.0 version. Rules for each game follows id software's with a flag which spawns in one location. Touching the flag awards one point to each team member of the player who touches it (nothing extra to whoever touches it). Flag respawns 30 plus or minus 10 seconds after each "take." Weapon respawn times follow FFA's 5 seconds since this isn't a weapon domination game. A player's score is maintained if they switch; a player switching does not affect either of the team score total.

Why Flagmatch Rocks
***************************************

Tourney Flagmatch works because "runaway tactics" only gives your opponent the flag points, so 1-on-1 is like Rocket Arena slugouts. 

In team-Flagmatch the number of players totally irrevelent, as is the map size. Because there is only one flag players will find and fight each other constantly. 

Camping around the flag turns into a CTF-like defense while the other team tries to break the defensive hold. Camping anywhere else in the map is 100% useless.

Map Rotation:

All Q3DM maps (except Q3DM0) have all been converted to allow for tourney and team-DM. All the maps are in the default rotation: there's only one flagroom so number of players and size of the level won't be an issue.
