Description
-----------

NISTIME is a TCP/IP application which queries NIST time servers using the
SNTP (RFC 2030) or Daytime (RFC 867) services and adjusts the OS/2 system
clock. It is an update of the NISTIME for OS/2 program produced by Michael
Thompson in 1993, which in turn was ported from the original Unix code
written by Judah Levine at NIST.

For a complete description of the program's capabilities, please refer to the
NISTIME Reference Manual (NISTIME.INF).

Quick Install
-------------

Unzip the contents of the NISTIME2.ZIP file to a directory of choice,
e.g. \APPS\NISTIME.

Type NISTIME -? for a summary of NISTIME options.

NISTIME relies on the TZ environment variable to adjust for the time zone
(including any daylight saving time adjustment).
