First Look
----------

	Hi,

This is Martin Kiewitz. I'm a german user of OS/2. I had a Soundblaster
AWE64 Gold at home and OS/2. They did never work together. Well. Till I got
the fat archive from hobbes with the latest Soundblaster drivers collected by
 Daniel Caetano.

The installation was somehow flawlessly, but I had to change the
CONFIG.SYS. Not a problem for me. Last year, I bought a AWE 64 Value for my
girlfriend, because I wanted her to change to OS/2 from Windoze. This time,
the drivers failed. I had to search the web a lot, to find about a secret /G
 switch, the driver had.

Last year, I got some experience in Rexx programming, so I thought
yesterday: "fuck, gotta make a new installation". And this archive is the
result. I removed the brazilian installation, because I did not want to write
the installation twice. I changed the directory from C:\SBOS2 to X:\MMOS2\SB,
where the boot-drive is X:. It's better that way. Someone could have OS/2
 installed on D:.

I included part of the original readme at the end of this document.
My history begins with version 1.9rexx.

Daniel's Readme Begin
---------------------

Here is Daniel Caetano. I'm a brazilian user of OS/2 and I
become concerned with Creative Labs' decision to stop supporting
OS/2, but once the last (and I mean *the last ones*) drivers are
working fine under OS/2, there is no reason for killing myself.

Therefore, I make no guaratees that this will work on your
machine, since I tested only on the three I have in my house...
Well, it worked well on the three... (-: But, if you find ANY
bug on the install, let me know by my e-mail:

		Thanks!
