Delivery
--------

Overview
--------
Some time ago our organization installed Lotus Notes. We use Notes internally
for eMail, document distribution, and discussion databases.

Within a few months, I noticed 2 distinct groups of users;

   - one group who only sent and received 'simple' email
   - one group who used the calendaring and expanded features
     of the notes client

I thought it was overkill for the first group to use the Notes client.
While I like the Notes client, I also wanted a simpler (smaller & faster)
application to use for simple email. Because of this, I wrote 'Delivery'.

This application connects to your Notes or Domino server and allows you to
send, receive, and categorize your email.

This application uses the 'VIM' interface provided by Lotus. This interface
requires you to own a valid client license for Lotus Notes.
If you do not own a license for Notes, you are not eligible to
use this program!

Installation
------------

** This program 'delivery.exe' depends on being able to locate
your 'notes.ini' file. Therefore, your 'notes.ini' MUST
exist in either the current directory or a directory
referenced by your 'PATH' environment variable.

This application can be installed into its own directory, or
it can be installed into the same directory as the 'notes' client.

1. Create a directory, for example 'd:\delivery' or use your existing
    'Notes' client directory.

2. Copy the following files into the directory:

      Delivery.exe
      Delivery.hlp

3. This application requires 3 Lotus DLLs. Copy the following
DLLs from your Notes directory into the directory created above:

      vim32.dll
      iirtf.dll
      ixrtf.dll

4. Run 'delivery.exe'
