BluePaint v0.25b (beta) - freeware paint and animation program for OS/2

	Some information about this release
	===================================

- I'm putting this whole thing together fast since Christmas is just
3 days away, and I really wanted to release a new version for
Christmas (and promised many people I would :), so there won't be
  much documentation, sorry...

- there is no special installation required, just put BluePaint (BP)
in some directory, and run it from there (or create a program
  object on your desktop)

- the only major addition to this version is the ability to load
pictures which was not supported in any previous releases; there
is a few minor changes which will be mentioned later (and, no, BP
  does NOT save yet, sorry...)

- the supported graphic formats are: BMP (OS/2 and Windows), GIF,
PCX, TIFF, TGA (used by POV-Ray), ILBM (Amiga's IFF), XBM, PGM,
PPM, VID, IAX, KPS, SPR, PSE, IMG, CVP; (there's NO JPEG support
  yet...)

- BP uses the GBM library (Generalised Bitmap Module) written by
Andy Key (nyangau@aladdin.co.uk) as its engine for loading/decoding
  all those images

- a few other minor additions are: the Colour and Status windows are
no longer bound to BP's main window, they can be placed anywhere
on the destop (the painting windows will behave that way too, in
the future); line thickness and type now affects outline rectangles,
  cirlces, triangles, ...

- there's now 2 people developing BluePaint, me (Paul Czarny) and
Jeppe Cramon, who joined me a few months ago; this is good news,
since things should start going much faster from now on
  (hopefully :)

- also, as BP keeps growing and getting bigger, some major changes
are being made to its internal structure (design), hence some
things are getting broken along the way, unfortunately; temporarily
disabled is restoring BP's size and position from last time (ie.
it will always start in the same place), and Flood Fill won't
always work properly; there's possibly others (sometimes PMView
will die when trying to paste an image copied from BP, but others
work fine, ie PMJPEG, Clipboard Viewer, ... ???)

- I have been falling behind in my studies, and that's why it took me
so long to have anything done, but now I will try to release a new
version every 2-3 months (that's just plans, I'm hoping to
achieve that goal); expect an update sometime soon, with small bug
fixes and a few new features

- I want to thank everyone who emailed me their comments/suggestions/
ideas the last time, I have them all, with time I will try to
implement them all, but loading/saving is most needed, so at
least loading is now done; next is saving, 256-colour mode, and
other stuff (grid, toolbar, statusbar, ...)

- I would also ask anyone to email me if they find any bugs, something
that doesn't work properly, any comments, suggestions, whatever,
that's what keeps me (us) motivated :)

- Finally, you can contact me (Paul) or my codeveloper (Jeppe) at:
  Paul Czarny: pczarny@undergrad.math.uwaterloo.ca
  Jeppe Cramon: jcramon@kampsax.dtu.dk
or visit BP's webpage (some ALPHAs might be posted between releases):

- Hope you'll find BluePaint useful, so ENJOY!
