For users with multiple OS/2 and/or eCS boot partitions,
extensive efforts have been made to faclilitate the use of a
single UniMaint installation from multiple WPS desktops.

The key issue is the location UniMaint uses to store files
specific to the current boot drive. Previous versions of UniMaint
would store these files in its installation directory, making its
use from multiple desktops problematic.

In order to run UniMaint from WPS desktops other than the current
one, then please do the following:

    1. If you have a UNIMAINT.INI file:

       a. Open UNIMAINT.INI in UniMaint and use the "Copy
selected application" (CTRL+A) to copy the one
application into x:\OS2\OS2.INI (where "x" is your boot
          drive).

       b. Delete the UNINAINT.INI file.

    2. For each desktop run:

       UNI_OBJS /Install

when booted to that desktop. The UNI_OBJS program can be
found in the main UniMaint installation directory.
       UNI_OBJS will:

       - Create/update WPS objects for UniMaint on the current
         desktop.

       - Configure UniMaint to use a different subdirectory for
files specific to the current desktop.

NOTE: If there is no UNIMAINT.INI file by the time you
click on the "Install" button (coming up soon), then you
will not need to run UNI_OBJS for the current desktop.
