A collection of 28 Wang Bang maps for Shadow Warrior. All maps have been
tested to the extreme and any bugs found have been squished. Some maps
have been edited to add to Wang Bang game play. Some have simple changes,
matter of adding/adjusting start points or weapons, while some maps have
had extensive changes - secrets added, underwater areas added, whole new
areas added, explosive walls added, short cuts added to decrease map
linearity, etc, etc. In other words, if you've played these maps before,
expect some differences and adjust your game play accordingly.

We take NO credit for designing these maps, this belongs to the original
map designers. The only credit we accept is for putting this collection
together and for any changes we have made to the maps. You will find the
maps original text files at the end of this file.

Quick Start:
      Unpack to your S/W directory
      Run WBH.COM
      Select type of game - single or muliplay
      Enjoy!

Detailed Instructions:
      Unpack to your Shadow Warrior directory

      Run WBH.COM - Use you arrow keys to select at option:

          * SINGLE PLAY - Normal game, but pretty useless as most
            maps have no monsters. Of course you can always use a chea
            code to look at all the maps and look for secrets before
            you play your mates! During the game press [T] then type
            "swtrek**" where "**" is the map number to look at. This
            must be a two figure number, ie. 01, 02.... 28.

          * MULTI PLAY - Sends you to another screen to set up a Wang
            Bang Game, and this is why we are all here! Here you'll need
            to select type of game (Serial, Modem or Network) and
            various configurations for each type of game. You'll find key
            usage instructions at the top and bottom of this menu. You can
            also select player name (Press [INSERT] to  edit) and RTS
            file to use - I'd suggest you try WBH.RTS for a start, but
            the program will list up to 20 RTS files that you happen to
            have in your Shadow Warrior directory. Best play is when
            all players have the same RTS file in use.

                * Modem: A Wang Bang game played between 2 players
                  using a modem! You'll need to select your modem port
                  number, port speed (suggest 19200), dial type, mode of
                  connecting (answer or originate call) and if you are
                  making the call, a phone number to call (press [INSERT]
                  to add a new number). Don't forget your name and RTS file.

                * Serial: A Wang Bang game played between 2 players whose
                  computers are connected with a null-modem cable. Select
                  serial port number, port speed (again, 19200 is highly
                  recommended) and set answer mode to 'already connected'.
                  Don't forget your name and RTS file.

                * Network: A Wang Bang game played between 2-8 players
                  whose computers have been connected in a network. Set
                  number of players and socket to use - the default should
                  be OK to use in most circumstances. Don't forget your
                  name and RTS file.

            Now, press the [SPACE] bar to play.

            In Shadow Warrior, select NEW GAME and this will bring you to a
            game setup screen. Select the type of Wang Bang match you want,
            the colour of your pants, and options from the 'Other Options'
            screen that you wish to use. Use the slider bar to select the
            map you want to play and the select 'START' to play.

            When you want to change maps, press [ESC] during a game and
            select 'NEW GAME' - you'll be back to the Wang Bang setup
            screen, so just select the map to use and the 'START' game.

          * README - Errr..... displays this file!

          * UNINSTALL - Errr.... uninstalls Wang Bang heaven. Deletes
            Wang Bang Heaven files from your Shadow Warrior directory.

          * QUIT NOW - Exits Wang Bang Heaven.

NOTES:

TEAM GAMES: Players on the same teams must have the same colour pants.
Select these from within Shadow Warrior on the map select screen.

CTF (Capture The Flag) games: A team game (can be teams of 1) where you must
Capture the opposing teams flag and return it to your base. Each team must
be coloured the same as one of the flags. There are two CTF maps in Wang
Bang Heaven, and both use RED and BLUE as the team colours. We have edited
the CTF maps so that you have unlimited time to return the flags back to
your base. These maps can be played as normal Wang Bang maps.

MAP AUTHORS: We have tried to contact all map authors to get permission
from them to use and/or edit their maps. All but a few have replied, some
have had their e-mail bounce back to us, and the others we have not found
any contact details. If you are the author of a particular map in this
collection and have not been contacted by us, then please contact us.

Info

Night raid is a Capture the Flag scenario. You can play it as a regular
Wangbang, but it will not have the team elements that make this map so fun.

The goal is to capture the flag in the other team's base and return it to
yours. Every time you do, you recieve a point, a ripper heart, and a heat
seeker card.

There are six score boards, three in each base. Look at them periodically to
see how many flag captures you have.

If you plan to play night raid on CTF, you must either set your pants color
to red or blue. The red team is the North base, the blue team is the South
base. Explore Night raid in single player to choose which base is best for
you before you play net/modem. If you are having trouble distinguishing which
base is yours, remember that the red base has a ying-yang symbol on its
center tower.

Whoever has the most flag captures at the end of the game wins! (A time
limit is suggested to make this fair).

BLUE BASE (south)
- Two turrets, a cannon turret and a machine gun turret.
- Alarm system accessible from center tower.
- Every item in armories except red armor, heat seeker cards, ripper hearts,
  guardian heads or rail guns.
- Two passages leading to the upper cliffs.

RED BASE (north)
- One turret; an automatic shell cannon.
- Every item in armories except red armor, heat seeker cards, ripper hearts,
  guardian heads or rail guns.
- Design allows less hassle while collecting weapons

Description     : High speed killing machine. This vehicle is very fast,
                  and carries a deadly pulse-laser cannon. It is also the
                  smallest on the field, making it the hardest to hit. In the
                  right hands this vehicle is almost unstoppable. However, it
                  lacks armor necessary to survive even one rocket hit, and
		  it is difficult to control at high speeds.

Description     : This massive, ridiculously durable tank is possibly one of
                  the deadliest weapons availible. Although it is slow, it
                  takes vast amounts of punishment before it shuts down and
                  it can decimate just about any vehicle or enemy quickly
                  with its 120mm cannons.

Description     : This tank is quick and moderately armored. Its flame jets
                  are good for starting fires - To block off entrances, items,
                  etc, or to just fry some infantry. It moves fast and is
                  moderately armored, making it a good choice for a 'getaway
                  vehicle' when you've captured the flag.

Description     : This tank is quick, moderately armored, and packs a punch.
                  Generally a good tank to use. It is small which makes it

Description     : The main line of defense for the south base, this turret

Description	: If your other turret is broken and your repair kit hasn't

Description           : The Twilight Zone consists of a castle, an outdoor
                        scene, fantastic lighting, several interesting and
                        fun secrets, nicely picked textures, nicely picked
                        colour (no clashing!), a laser turret you can kick
                        MAJOR ass in, a tree which you can travel through
                        it's trunk then climb into its leaves.. it is really
                        cool! You will get totally involved when playing WB.

                         the Guardian Head is hidden in a tree trunk. The
                         trunk acts like a elevator, bring it down and out
                         pops the Head. The ripper heart is in a secret
                         passage way in a wall. (if that makes sense to you)
