======================================================================
**In the following document, Tonight Never Ends is referred to as TNE.

Installation:
1) What is the minimum system requirement?
Most of the time, if your computer can play Shadow Warrior smoothly,
your computer will play Tonight Never Ends well. However, we do
recommend at least a Pentium 100 with 16+ MB of RAM for acceptable
performance. NO 3D Accelerator will be needed at all. We also do
not recommend playing with the highest resolution, as it slows
down the frame rate in Tonight Never Ends significantly, unless you
	have a good computer.

2) How do you install this thing?
Simply unzip all files into your Shadow Warrior directory.
	Then follow these steps:

	MS-DOS Users
	------------
From the command prompt, in the Shadow Warrior directory, just type
TNE and press enter. The game will launch itself.

	Windows 95/98
	-------------
	a) Double click on Tnewin.exe
	b) A start-up menu will pop up.
	c) Select the "Desktop" button to to put a TNE Icon on your Desktop.
That way, the next time you want to play Tonight Never Ends, you
can simply click on the icon on the desktop.
	d) Click on "Single Play" or "Multi Play" to play a Single-player or
Multi-player game; click on "Read Me" to read this document; click
on "Quit Now" to exit the start-up menu.

3) Won't this installation thing put in tons of files into my Shadow Warrior
    directory?
Not at all!! Ben Smit's launcher will extract all the files you need
when you start the game, and group them together when you quit, so
you never have more than about 6 files in your directory!! Even if
the game crashes, the files will be grouped together again the next
time you launch the Tonight Never Ends.

4) How do I uninstall?
Sad as it is, some day you will want to uninstall Tonight Never Ends.
	Just follow these simple steps:

	a) Click on the TNE Icon that you should have already put on your
Desktop to launch the start-up menu.
	b) Click on "Uninstall TNE" to uninstall.

5) My installation hangs at start-up, or my copy of installed TNE simply
doesn't load!! What do I do?
If this occurs, you are low in memory!! Try to make some space
for TNE by deleting some unwanted files.

6) I experience difficulty playing TNE with my UK version of Shadow Warrior
(in which Lo Wang throws darts instead of shurikens). Help!!
If you have the UK version of Shadow Warrior, it may not work well
with TNE. But worry not -- all you have to do is go to the Lights
	Out website (www.wangsdojo.com/lightsout/) or Wangsdojo
(www.wangsdojo.com) download section, and download the patch
that puts in the shurikens and takes out the darts. Everything will
	be set then. Enjoy!! };-)

=====================================================================
Gameplay:
1) How do I start a single-player game?
In DOS, under your Shadow Warrior directory, type in "TNE.com", and
a simple menu should appear, in which you can choose to start a
	single-player or a muti-players game.

Or, in Windows 95 or 98, click on the TNE Icon to launch the start-up
menu. Click on the "Single Play" button to play.

2) Then what do I do?
After you choose the single-player option, the game launches. You
will come to the main menu, where you should choose "New Game" if
this is your first time playing, or "Load Game" if you already have
games saved. If you choose "New Game", you will be introduced with
a message, "Lights Out presents: Tonight Never Ends". Simply press
"ENTER" to go to the next screen. Then you may choose the difficulty
setting that best suits you. Remember: "Pussy Galore" and
"Thunderbolt" are easy settings for beginners; "Wang, Lo Wang" is the
recommended setting for all players, and "License to Kill" is the
	hardest setting for the experts.

3) How do I start a multi-players game?
In DOS, under your Shadow Warrior directory, type in "TNE.com", and
in the menu, choose "muti-players". Then simply follow the Shadow
Warrior Setup menu, and launch your muti-players game.

Or, in Windows 95 or 98, click on the TNE Icon to launch the start-up
menu. Click on the "Multi Play" button to launch a multi-players
	game.

Remember, while most levels are WB-compatible, very few aren't. But
worry not -- even if you choose a level that is not WB-compatible,
the game will NOT go out of sync. Instead, very simply, the game
will tell you that this particular level is not WB-compatible.

4) Hey, I'm stuck in a level and I can't find my way out!! What gives?
Some of our levels contain some intense puzzle-solving, so you may
be stuck on one or two of them. But worry not -- go to our website
(www.wangsdojo.com/lightsout/) and go to our forum page. State the
level name and the problem you have with the level, and members of
the team will give you hints or solutions to your problem.
=====================================================================
WB-Related
1) How do you play the WB-only level "Arsenal"?
This WB level is a special level which will be completely destroyed
in TEN minutes. During the ten minutes, the level will change
radically, with explosions opening up new sniper or hiding areas and
closing down some existing areas. The players are in a race against
time -- whoever kills the most in ten minutes wins. The game will
end automatically after ten minutes. There is a clock in the level
which indicates how many minutes you have left; due to limitations
in Build, each "Build minute" is about 1 minute and 8 seconds in real
	life.

2) How do you play the WB-only level "Bull's Eye!!"?
This level is unlike any other ordinary WB levels. This level
rewards you for accuracy and speed rather than frags. It's a
shoot-out!!!! You and the other player will be put in
symetrical courses. To advance from room to room, you must shoot
certain targets with your trusty rail gun. During the whole "race",
you will be able to see your opponent on the other side of the
indestructable glass. You will not be able to harm him until in
the last room. In the last room, you must shoot the targets
*across* from your room in order to open the "END" button. And,
if your opponent happens to be across the room also, you can shoot
him too };-) The first one to hit the "END" button wins.
It's hard to explain, but a lot of fun!! TRY IT!!!!

3) Can you play "Under Attack!!" in WB?
Sure!! In fact, it's very very fun in WB. In WB, the level is
slightly different. For example, the turret in the center is now
a LOT more powerful. There is a nuke head on the automatic turret
of the base, and you are now able to climb up onto the high
ledge of the base. But anyway, this level is best played with 3 or
more players. The 3 players are fighting for the control of the
turret (which, I guarantee you, will score you a lot of frags!!).
The people that are not in the turret should work together to
	overtake the turret together.1

====================================================================
Technical Problems:
1) I can't extract files from your GRP file!! Why?
Well, when you can't, you can't };-p The files are blended into the
GRP file in such a way that you cannot extract files from it. This
is due to some copyright issues.

2) How come some of my old art files (or other files) disappeared?
When the game launches, if you have a file that uses the same file
name as a file in Tonight Never Ends, then your file will be backed
up. Don't worry -- your file is not lost. If you look closely, you
will find your files with last two letters of their extensions
swapped. If you want to use them, simply rename them with the
	correct extension.

4) The game CRASHED!!!! What do I do?
The game very very rarely crashes. The reasons for the game to crash
may vary, but they are usually not the level's fault. Most of the
time, it is because of the way your computer reacts with certain
commands, so crashing locations vary from computers to computers.
When this happens, simply start the game again, and it should not
	happen any more.

5) The game KEEPS CRASHING!!!! What do I do?
If the game keeps crashing, I would strongly recommend you to play
Tonight Never Ends in DOS instead of Windows 95 or 98.

6) The framerate is TERRIBLE!!!! What happened?
Most of the time, framerate runs at the very very least above 10 fps.
However, sometimes computers may slow down to reload, organize, or
whatever, which cause major framerate drops. When this happens,
please wait until your computer is finished reloading, organizing, or
whatever it is doing. If your framerate is terrible all the time,
then perhaps your computer isn't fast enough to play at the
resolution you are currently playing on. Try changing the resolution
	to a 640 X 480, or even 320 X 200, then TNE should run nicely.

5) When I'm just playing my good old Shadow Warrior -- NOT TNE -- I still
    see TNE's art!! What happened?
Your last TNE game probably crashed, so the TNE files weren't
properly grouped back together. To solve the problem, simply
load TNE again, and the launcher will do a "Crash Recovery", which
should solve this problem. Quit TNE, then load up Shadow Warrior
again. You should not see any more TNE arts now.

6) Can I play TNE with 3dfx?
I'm sorry, but it is not possible. Our launcher program does not
support it. While there is a way to fix it by yourself, it is too
complicated, and one false move will screw up a lot of things. So
we decided NOT to support -- or even tell you how to use -- 3dfx.
Don't bother emailing us on this matter -- we're sorry, but
	we can't help you.

Misc. Questions:
1) How was Lights Out formed?
Well, without getting into too much details, I (Jonathan The Grape)
one day woke up, and thought to myself, "man, I gotta go to the
bathroom!!" Okay, after that, I thought, "since all those TCs are
coming up, wouldn't it be cool to compete with them?" By then, I
haves already had some interesting ideas for a TC, so I set my words
into action. (okay, that sounds a little corny, but you get the
	idea };-)

2) How were the Lights Out team members picked?
Actually, the way I pick the level designers may be a bit different
than how other TC teams did. Basically, I go to Nim-Nim's Shadow
Warrior site, and go to his maps page. Because I trust Nim-Nim's
ratings completely, and I usually agree with them, I pick the single-
player maps that are rewarded full points, and play them myself. If
I like the style of the builder, I send him a letter asking him to
join in. That way, I insure that the quality of the members are
really high, and that they all have a style that I appreciate. As
for our artist, Eidern... Well, it's kinda complicated, so let's
put it this way: I was lucky };-p I just stumbled onto him };-)
And as for other people... well, they are all gathered in a similar
fashion. Very rarely do I ask people to apply for a position. It's
usually me out there hunting for talents };-)

3) When was Tonight Never Ends started?
It actually started secretly in March, when I and a few other members
got together and started working. We announced our existance in
April, and expected to get the episode out in May. But then, we were
only doing a very simple levels add-on pack. One thing led to
another, and before I knew it, we turned into a TC team, and did what
TC teams usually do -- we delayed };-p

4) How did we come across the Bond-theme?
Well, that's kinda complicated also, but simply put, we did not plan
a Bond-themed TC when we started. But due to other complications,
we turned the TC into a Bond-themed TC, with a storyline that allowed
us to use the original enemies, sounds, and some weapons. Because
it is very hard to do a TOTAL conversion for Shadow Warrior, we
believed that the storyline allowed us maximum space for creativity
without having to change much of the weapon/enemy system, etc.
