NOTE! : This is a highly custom map, designed to bring
DukeMatch gameplay to a new level. As such, there are
some changes that must be made to the way you play.
To facilitate these changes, we have included a custom
USER.CON file, named SPEEDBALL.CON . To install this
file, it is STRONGLY recommended that you backup your
original copy of USER.CON first, and then rename
SPEEDBAL.CON to USER.CON . There are also additional
rules that will be discussed below.

Description:

Ladies and gentlemen, from the mapmaker that has brought you,
well, nothing really so far ;) and is working on NUKED, comes a new
level of Duke gameplay. If you have ever played paintball, you are
probably familiar with the concept of speedball: a game played on a
relatively small court, with plenty of tactical cover. This kind of
close-quarters combat requires stealth, timing, observation, and
nerves of steel. Unlike in normal Dukematch, you can't wander through
hoping to react fast enough if spotted; instead, you know roughly
the enemy is, and he knows roughly where you are. You must get
yourself in a position of tactical superiority, move in, and take the
shot. Don't stick your head up, cuz it'll get shot off.

There are some custom rules to the game. Some of them are
written into the map. Others can only be enforced by the honour
system. Either way, the rules are as follows:

1- Each player gets 1 health point. This eliminates the
problem of unequal firepower. One hit, and you're dead.

2- Each player is limited to one pistol with 48 rounds
in it. You may pick up ammo dropped by other players.
(Don't worry, you won't be alive long enough to worry
about the ammo limit :) Plus, on a team you can act
as a distraction, letting yer buddy get the kill.)

3- Players group up into two teams before the game (alpha
and beta). It is up to the players to remember who is
        on whose team.

4- Players begin the game in the lobby. From there they go
through the teleporter corresponding to their team. The
teleporter takes them to a "safe zone" where bullets cannot
pass. From there, they go to the playing field. Do not go
into the other team's safe zone or transporter. This is
cheating. There is no way to enforce this, so you are on
        your honour.

5- Don't be a dick and wait just outside the safe zone.

6- Scores are based on your teams total kills, minus friendly
kills (Shooting your teammates.) Be sure to write down all
the stats at the end of the game so you can work it out.
(In a two player game this doesn't matter - just go by the
        game scores.)

That's about it as far as rules go. One last tip: Keep your head
down, your eyes and ears open, and plan your moves. And stay away
from exploding barrels.
